The BBC were invited to St Edmund’s today to deliver a Key Stage 3 workshop on careers, presented by actor and BBC radio show host Mim Shaikh.
The workshop was composed of a panel of interviewees, Ashley Mikkola from Aceleron, Amber Sandhu part of the BBC Sport and Radio Digital Team and Jack Lonsdale from Stantec.
The aim of the event was to get the students thinking about their future career opportunities and to launch the importance of careers at St. Edmund’s. Our students actively asked questions to the panel and were left motivated and inspired by the event.
The Careers lead, Mr Rawal said, “The BBC have done an amazing job to help with the development of careers within schools and we felt privileged to host them at St. Edmund’s today”.
