The Scholastic book fair was held at St Edmunds with pupils being excited to browse and purchase an interesting selection of new books.

Our library Ambassadors were very busy beforehand running competitions and promoting reading for pleasure throughout school.

Every purchase a pupil made earned school reward points which we are able to spend on new books for the library.

Pupils were able to see lots of books which captured their interest as well as sharing their books with each other.

The total raised was £775 of which £310 is rewarded back to the academy to spend on new books. Pupils have been making suggestions as to which titles our librarian should choose.

We are delighted by both the parent and pupil contribution which has enabled us to have some lovely new books on our shelves.
