On Friday, three St Edmund’s students went to Stoke-On-Trent to compete in the British Schools national Milano Gymnastics Championships.

Each member of our U14 team performed exceptionally well on both floor and vault. They gained some personal best in terms of their scores.

Our trio were exceptional – so synchronised and performed with lots of extension. They scored the 5th highest in their age group – a superb result!

Sophie, Mahdi and one other students were a credit to themselves and the Academy and were placed 11th overall in the country. A great opportunity yet again to gather bother experience of performing at a higher level and inspiration from other gymnasts.

Well done team! Keep training hard in preparation for the National Floor and Vault Finals next month.
