Saint Anthony of Padua, also known as Saint Anthony of Lisbon, was a beloved Franciscan friar and renowned preacher in the 13th century. He is venerated as the patron saint of lost items, the poor and the oppressed. Known for his exceptional eloquence, Anthony’s sermonsĀ had the power to convert hearts and lead many to repentance.
