You have played regular turn-based RPGs before. All of them, except Earthbound probably, have anime characters. Now you can ditch the anime characters, and have your friends (and family, if you have one of them…).

You can be a wizard. Or a knight. Or a princess. Or a cat. Or a tank. Or a cook. Or a FLOWER. You can be anything. But you have to have friends. Sorry to disappoint some of you, but you have to have friends to play. The Dark Lord is bored so he steals everyone’s faces. Their literal faces. And a random kid named Olivier (or whoever you are) decides that they are the chosen one. Epic.

Then you add a friend to the game. You design their face and what they look like. Then you’re good to go. And you need 15 of them for a standard playthrough, and that’s not counting all the other characters in the game. 

The music is reminiscent of Danganronpa, using human vocals in some songs. The music usually reflects the mood of the current scene. It’s usually really chirpy. 

This game is good. Great actually. And it’s on 3DS. Shame Nintendo took 14 years to take the opportunity to make a game like this.
