On this sixth day of the Octave of Christian Unity, we continue our journey towards greater harmony and understanding within the Body of Christ. As we reflect upon the call to unity, let us earnestly pray for the healing of wounds and the restoration of broken relationships among believers. May this day be a time of reconciliation, where hearts are softened, and differences are embraced as opportunities for growth and shared learning. In the spirit of Christ’s love, let us strive for unity that goes beyond mere tolerance to a genuine appreciation of the unique gifts each tradition brings to our collective faith. As we join hands in prayer and fellowship, may the bonds of Christian unity become increasingly evident, radiating the love and peace of Christ to a world in need.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. – Colossians 3:13-14
