Tettenhall and District Horticultural Society judges have declared St Edmund’s win Highly Commended in theĀ Best School Garden Competition 2016.
Mrs Rous, our retired science teacher, works tirelessly with our Gardening Club members to ensure our garden continues to flourish.
The Academy was judged on cultivation and freedom from perennial weeds, children’s knowledge, enthusiasm and involvement and the quality and variety of planting.
The judges were very impressed by our small and well maintained garden, how we use our herbs in our food served to our students and our home made compost used in our vegetable beds.
