A group of language students from Year 8 and Year 10 were bought together to experience the delights of a French breakfast earlier this week.
The restaurant was set up with music, table cloths and waiters and students were first taught how to say restaurant vocabulary in French. Students then ordered a drink and their choice of breakfast. They had the opportunity to try a ‘tartine avec Nutella’ or a traditional french croissant as well as chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) or jus d’orange (orange juice). Students had a wonderful time and enjoyed putting their language skills into practice.
What a wonderful way to experience a taste of being in a restaurant abroad.
Thank you to JLH Languages for delivering a taste of France without having to leave the UK.
